Leasehold and freehold reform

The Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act was passed on 24 May 2024 as part of the “washup” ahead of the general election and leasehold reform was again included in the recent king’s speech.

This session will look at the key points of the Act and further proposals including implications for conveyancing in The Renters Rights Bill & the proposed draft Leasehold and Commonhold Reform Bill.
