Conor Maher

Conor Maher is a Senior Associate Solicitor and Higher Courts Advocate at Ellis Jones Solicitors LLP, specialising in dispute resolution and regulatory law. Conor’s practice deals with a range of civil and commercial matters representing both businesses and individuals, including dealing with high-value and complex litigation before the High Court alongside claims before the County Court.

Conor’s civil and commercial practice includes all aspects of commercial litigation including contract and share purchase agreement disputes, shareholder/boardroom disputes, and professional negligence actions.

Conor has been ranked as a Recommended Lawyer in both Dispute Resolution and Property Litigation by the Legal500 Guide 2023 and 2024. As well as being a Higher Courts Advocate (Civil), Conor is also an SCMA Advanced Mediation Advocate, and strong supporter of the use of alternative dispute resolution in commercial disputes. Conor regularly delivers professional CPD training and has appeared as a guest lecturer on the civil litigation modules of the LLM Legal Practice course at Bournemouth University.
