Personal injury specialist firm Michael Lewin Solicitors has selected the Proclaim Case Management software solution from Legal Futures Associate Eclipse Legal Systems for a firm-wide roll-out.
The practice operates from two locations in Leeds, employing 50 staff to manage injury cases for nationwide claimants. Given the ever-changing legislative and competitive pressure in the injury litigation sector, the firm recognised the need to implement a flexible and robust software solution to maximise profitability. Following a full review of the legal software market, the firm selected Eclipse’s Proclaim system.
Michael Lewin Solicitors has taken a two-phase approach to the roll-out, and following a successful implementation for 30 staff at one branch, 20 further staff will access Proclaim at the firm’s second branch.
The full Proclaim suite is being used, which includes Proclaim Accounts to form an integrated practice-wide solution for all staff. Eclipse has carried out a conversion of data from the firm’s incumbent case management and accounts systems.
As well as Proclaim Personal Injury, Michael Lewin Solicitors is also implementing the Proclaim Financial Mis-selling module to capitalise on high volumes of outstanding payment protection insurance claims.
Michael Lewin, director at the practice, said: “The personal injury sector is unique in terms of fluidity and sheer competitive weight. To really maximise potential and profitability, a dedicated case management software system is utterly vital.
“My practice differentiates itself on quality and responsiveness, and Proclaim stands apart as being the only solution that offers true flexibility and a clear focus on speed of case progression. With Proclaim at the core of our operations, I am confident we can benefit from whatever changes the market can throw at us.”
