Supreme Court judgment should increase access to justice for workers
Wednesday, 26 July 2017‘The Supreme Court has today decided that the Government introduction of Tribunal Fees in 2013 was unlawful under both UK and EU law. It also decided that it was discriminatory because the fee level bore no relation to the cost of a specific claim. The Supreme Court accepted that fees put women at a particular disadvantage.

Proposed new law on partnership taxation
Wednesday, 29 March 2017Last week HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) announced the outcome of their consultation on partnership taxation. Their proposal for new legislation will form part of the second Finance Bill 2017 and is expected to become law in April 2018.
