Law Society questions value of cab-rank rule
Wednesday, 7 January 2015The Law Society has responded to a Bar Standards Board call for evidence on the cab-rank rule by questioning its “operational value”. A survey of solicitors who regularly use barristers found that only one person had actually invoked the rule.

Law Society fails to block Find a Solicitor negligence action

Plant reflects on five years at helm of SRA: “It’s a far better place now”

SRA rejects Law Society bid to extend indemnity run-off period by three years

SRA to end Law Society’s ‘Find a Solicitor’ monopoly
