First legal executives granted historic independent practice rights
Monday, 30 March 2015A member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives who specialises in conveyancing has become the first to receive independent practice rights. A probate specialist and a legal executive who runs his own immigration firm were also granted independent rights.

Exclusive: only 13% of home movers choose cheapest conveyancer, major survey reveals
Monday, 26 January 2015A major survey of 4,500 home movers has found that only 13% chose the conveyancer offering the cheapest fee. The survey also found that people were more likely to recommend their estate agent to friends than their conveyancer.

Law Society fails to block Find a Solicitor negligence action
