Law Society warns solicitors to protect themselves against "biased" barristers' terms
Friday, 25 January 2013The Law Society has urged solicitors to protect themselves against the new terms of business being introduced by the Bar next week because they are “weighted strongly” in favour of barristers. From 31 January the traditional default system of non-contractual terms will be replaced.

New Bar chief keeps up anti-LSB rhetoric

Top judge warns against creeping influence of external investors over professional ethics

Barristers to return all interest to clients with new account facility

Juniors hire QC as the ‘barrister law firm’ expands
