Nominate the team that has impressed you most and tell us about the speed of searches, the level of accuracy, the can-do approach of the team and how their high level of customer service positively impacts on your day-to-day work.
Click here to nominate a local land charges team via our online form. It doesn’t take long to complete – and as a thank you for your time, you will be entered into a prize draw to win M&S vouchers worth £50. The closing date for entries is 9th December 2022.
Speed of search turnarounds is of critical importance to all house purchases and a key measure of customer service. According to NLIS Hub figures for September 2022, 72% of Local Authorities in England and Wales take 10 days or less to return searches, the target set by Government. Many searches are turned around in a day or two.
Arun District Council have won the award for the past four years. Daniel Carman, Local Land Charges Officer at Arun said:
“Winning the Customer Satisfaction Award means a lot to the whole team, especially as our customers had to nominate us for this category. It shows that all the hard work we put into providing a great service is really worthwhile. It has also put Local Land Charges in the spotlight as many people didn’t know who we were or what we did!”
Sponsoring this Award category for the fifth year running, Andrew Simpson, Senior Development Manager for the Coal Authority said: “At the Coal Authority we understand the importance of excellent customer service and how to make every customer interaction really matter. Actively listening to and engaging with customers to make them feel valued is an integral aspect of our business, and we are delighted to support these Awards which recognise excellence in the authoritative data market.”
The Awards will be presented in March 2023.
