Leading provider of software and services to the legal market, Access Legal, recently upgraded its catalogue of legal learning courses with fully refreshed versions of its Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) content. The new courses will support firms with their compliance requirements and help them to understand the latest guidance in inclusivity.

The new AML course offers engaging video, interactive and animated content with a focus on how to determine when simplified or enhanced customer due diligence is required, how UK PEPs may be considered lower risk relative to international PEPs, and an exploration of the addendum to LSAG guidance. The highly popular previous version was taken by over 26,000 users.

The second release for Access Legal Learning is its fully updated Equality, Diversity and Inclusion course, available to all law firm staff including managers. The course provides designated EDI training in the context of the legal profession featuring multiple videos led by subject matter experts. The training course includes definitions for key terms and coverage of the updated Equality Act 2010 and the protected characteristics under it. It contains practical knowledge checks covering realistic scenarios which can and have arisen in law firms. There is an optional section for partners, managers, human resources, and EDI officers, as well as mandatory assessment to support continuous learning.
