Tikit, a global provider of technology solutions to legal firms, has today announced that P4W will be included in the HMRC’s list of VAT compatible software products for Making Tax Digital (MTD).
The government plans to use MTD to make it easier for individuals and businesses to get their tax right. From the 1st April 2019, VAT-registered businesses with a taxable turnover above the VAT threshold are required to use the MTD service to keep records digitally and use software to submit their VAT returns. This software must be compatible and recognised by the HMRC.
In the latest version of P4W, the MTD integration will be available, alongside several other major enhancements to the software. Tikit prides itself in responding quickly and efficiently to changes in the legal landscape and understand the pressure firms might feel under these HMRC changes. .
“This new update will allow legal firms to keep up to date with their affairs and stick to government guidelines” says Alex Williams, P4W Product Manager. “Using their existing software they can easily comply with MTD and submit VAT returns. We will continue to provide our clients with the best possible practice and case management solution with the best integrations.”
