Leading provider of software and services to the legal market, Access Legal, part of The Access Group, has launched Access Managed Device Solutions to free up the time legal professionals spend on handling IT issues and speed up the onboarding of new starters with ready to go equipment, providing a stress-free IT experience. The new solution provides law firms with ‘case ready’ laptops and hardware, fully configured with the right applications, permissions and profiles they need for their work from the first time they’re switched on.

Access Managed Services already provides easy-to-use, affordable, fully managed IT solutions for modern law firms, allowing them to embrace hybrid and remote working and keep their day-to-day operations secure and efficient.  It also gives legal professionals more time to focus on cases and clients, freeing them up to deliver excellent client service as soon as they hit the on button.

Sarah Johnstone, Access Managed Services’ Delivery Director, shares: “Our new offering provides a full life-cycle device management solution that’s flexible, scalable, and transforms the way firms  provide legal professionals with the IT equipment they need. From helping new starters access their work laptop for the first time, to replacing existing user equipment when it reaches the end of its life cycle, it helps get users up and running straightaway.

“Our offering  goes beyond the traditional hardware lease or device as a service to provide a true ‘out of the box’ solution, complete with a fully managed IT service to support users with every aspect of their IT usage.”

The service, which is open to all Access Legal customers, provides full MS 365 integration, Autopilot enrolment, license management and ongoing monitoring, management and support for all supplied devices. It ensures devices stay up-to-date and working correctly, while managing renewals and upgrades.

User support can also be provided through the Access Managed Services helpdesk, plus data destruction and recycling or refurbishing of devices when an employee leaves – showing that every aspect of IT use within a law firm has been considered and catered for.

Access Legal launched in 2021 and more than 3,500 UK law firms currently benefit from its solutions. Its client portfolio includes The MAPD Group, Minster Law, Wolferstans Solicitors and Neves Solicitors LLP.
