Our 2021 Legal Accounts Salary Survey is now live, and we again need to ask for your help in compiling the all-important data.
It seems like a lifetime ago when we published the results of our 2020 Legal Accounts Salary Survey, which arrived during a period of widespread uncertainty for the legal sector and economy as a whole.
The results however were unchanged by the pandemic having been formed on data collected just prior to the country entering in to lockdown. The results of our 2021 survey will therefore provide an interesting contrast to see what impact the pandemic has had on salaries and bonuses for those working within legal finance.
The survey is 100% confidential and you don’t need to enter any contact details nor identifiable information. It only takes 2 minutes to complete with a simple online questionnaire – easily done in the time it takes to make a brew! As an added incentive, participants in this year’s survey also have the option to enter a prize draw to win a magnum of champagne.
If you find that it’s difficult to source accurate salary data within your region, you can play a big role in changing that by taking part and asking your peers and neighbouring firms to join in this confidential survey, sharing the link below. We’d again like to make a particular call to readers in Wales and the north of England to contribute and encourage others to participate, as we’d love to see a higher response level in these regions to strengthen the accuracy of data collected.
For two years running, a sizeable 69% of respondents have enjoyed a pay increase during the previous 12 months, with 45% also receiving a financial bonus last year. It seems inevitable that these figures will drop, but by how much and which regions will be most affected? Help us to find out!
