As a proud affiliate partner of the Law Society of England and Wales, legal software and outsourced service provider Quill has teamed up with both the Law Society and SRA to deliver a free, hour-long webinar on legal project management (LPM).
Taking place on Thursday 15 June at 2pm, the purpose of Quill’s ‘Unlock your hidden project management skills’ webinar is to help law firm professionals understand how LPM is an important part of day-to-day legal practice, develop their existing skillsets, apply these heightened skills to service delivery and achieve the ultimate goals of LPM; these being consistent results, reduced costs and enhanced client satisfaction.
Hosted by the Law Society, the guest speaker is the SRA’s General Counsel and Executive Director, Juliet Oliver, who’ll put a regulatory slant on LPM by explaining how law firms can meet the SRA’s practising and compliance requirements as these reflect core project management competencies. In her presentation, Juliet will draw upon her expertise as the SRA’s designated lead for strategic and regulatory reform, matters of governance and compliance, enforcement function and anti-money laundering directorate.
Juliet is joined by Quill’s Business Analyst Catrin Macleod and Managing Director Tom Wormald, who will showcase their combined, notable track records of assisting law firms to attain impressive financial results. They will demonstrate how to operate optimally by using LPM processes in tasks ranging from scoping instructions to compliance checks to court directions.
The webinar is aimed at law firms big and small who want to come away with a deeper understanding of LPM and master its craft to better manage workloads as projects. It’s free to attend but registration is required on the Law Society website. Interested attendees can book their place here.
