InfoTrack and Lawyer Checker have announced a new webinar focused on helping law firms avoid being victims of fraud and cybercrime.
InfoTrack have partnered with Lawyer Checker to present the varying types of cybercrime and how law firms can minimise the risk. The webinar is to be held on Tuesday 5th February at 10.30am.
The webinar looks at the growing risk of online crime including an overview of who is at risk and offers practical advice to help firms reduce the risk of becoming a victim. Including recent case studies, Adam Bullion and Emma Baddaley present their thoughts as to what firms can do.
Adam Bullion, general manager of marketing at InfoTrack, comments: “As people become even more reliant on technology, figures demonstrate that the risk of online crime increases. Firms need to ensure they are prepared for any eventuality and to do so, they require practical guidance to help them deal with the threat.”
Emma Baddaley, key relationship manager at Lawyer Checker, adds “A recent study by PWC said over half the respondents reported suffering phishing attacks. That is only one of many types of online crime that can be committed. The webinar makes for essential viewing, as we discuss how people, process and technology can help reduce the risk whilst looking at specific types of fraud and cybercrime in the conveyancing market.”
