O'Connors opens a raft of new offices in a move to remote working

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, laugh-a-minute police chief Martin Brody runs down Amity Island beach pointing at some new nasty thing lurking beneath the waves.

We’ve taken the view that every cloud computer has a silver lining, so we’ve temporarily moved to remote working to safeguard our team, our clients and our business friends and to maintain business as usual – or in our case, business as unusual. You could say we’ve added a raft of new offices to our Liverpool and London headquarters.

Intent on keeping as close as allowed to our clients and business friends, and to distract our home-workers from constantly raiding the biscuit tin, we have adopted Microsoft Teams as our collaboration tool for internal and external video conferencing. It’s free and secure and, apart from a colleague spotting I’d only ironed the front of my shirt, it seems to be working pretty well so far.

So, if you fancy keeping in touch with us, or you just want a good laugh watching lawyers grapple with technology while you drink your own coffee, do come and join us online. We’re all on our usual emails and mobiles if you prefer – and we do, at least, know how these work. In the meantime, good luck with all you’re doing and keep well.
