Award-winning lawyers and business advisers, O’Connors, has launched a virtual coffee shop called Café O’Connors to support their business friends around the world.
Café O’Connors offers a place to enjoy a little camaraderie with some familiar and new faces, as well as a confidential environment where business friends can share experiences and challenges or bounce around plans and ideas. After all, everyone needs a bit of caffeine and clear thinking at times like these.
With face-to-face catch ups over coffee currently off the agenda, those who’d like to ‘meet up’ will be sent an email inviting them to Café O’Connors via the firm’s video conferencing facilities. A simple click on the link in the invitation email at the agreed time is all that’s needed to follow the on-screen instructions. There’s not even a connection fee.
Commenting on the launch of Café O’Connors, director John Spofforth said: “We’d love all our business friends to take up this invitation. Having missed out on becoming a barrister, becoming a barista may be my only way to the bar now. My colleagues and I will be hosting Café O’Connors at no cost to our business friends, so the only downside is you’ll need to make your own brew. To request an invite, just email or call us on our usual contact numbers and we’ll be in touch. Given we’re all working remotely, if nothing else it should be a good laugh watching us juggle our work life balance in real-time.”
