Personal injury law firm, National Accident Law, has reported some key milestones relating to the successful development of its post whiplash reforms’ proposition.

Further to the reforms’ implementation on 31 May, the business’ interface with the portal for RTA claims is reported to be operating efficiently. After one month of operation the firm reports that customers are progressing quickly through the process with medicals underway and a significant number of liability admissions having been received. Settlements are expected to follow in due course.

Adam Nabozny, National Accident Law’s Managing Director, said: “We said we were ready, now we’ve proven that we are. Our new processes and technologies are working efficiently, despite the MIB portal suffering some well-documented teething challenges, which we are working around.

We’re already helping to resolve cases for claimants. We have numerous cases at various stages of the process with a number now progressing through liability admission towards settlement. It’s extremely pleasing to be able to confirm that we’re delivering on our promise to customers.”

In advance of the reforms, National Accident Law introduced a comprehensive digital journey, enhanced triaging and new call centre capabilities. It is now focusing on making further process improvements in this area, aiming to streamline and simplify the claims process further and in line with the post reform changes.

Since the implementation of the reforms on 31 May, National Accident Law has handled all RTA enquiries generated by the firm’s leading consumer brand, National Accident Helpline, and is in the process of taking on an increasing number of non-RTA claims.

Authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), National Accident Law will continue to invest in its people, processes and technologies to ensure that it is able to efficiently handle every type of claim and to deliver increased value in a post-reforms environment.
