Mel Carlen, the new Head of IT Services for Moneypenny

Moneypenny, the world’s leading outsourced communications provider for the legal sector, has appointed a new Head of IT Services. With a wealth of experience, Mel Carlen is passionate about process, IT and data governance.

An expert in the delivery of transformation projects that embrace technology, Mel has over 20 years’ experience of customer experience and spent 17 years at Marks & Spencer where she had a number of different roles spanning from IT change management to heading up their contact centre commercial function.

In her new role, Mel is charged with leading the fast growing IT team and developing the exciting AI-led technology Moneypenny is pioneering. She is also looking forward to exciting customers with intuitive cutting-edge technology that makes it easier for businesses to communicate with their clients and showcase their fantastic customer service.
