Millar & Bryce’s Head of Technology becomes first Accredited Legal Technologist from a non-traditional law firm


Landmark Information GroupLandmark Information Group is celebrating the achievement of Andre Boyle who was recently awarded Accredited Legal Technologist by the Law Society of Scotland. Andre is Head of Technology at Millar & Bryce the property search and information specialists in Scotland, part of Landmark Information Group.

Andre is only the fifth person to achieve the status since the scheme launched in November 2019, and is the first person outside of a non-traditional law firm to attain the accreditation.

Legal technology specialist Andre, was awarded the honour in recognition of his expertise in technological innovation for legal services.  With a career spanning 25 years in IT and technology, and 13 years specifically spent operating across three of Scotland’s leading law firms, Andre joined Millar & Bryce in January 2019 where he uses his wealth of experience in the property and legal industry to help deliver innovative technical services and products, in partnership with the firms’ customers.

The Accredited Legal Technologist is a voluntary accreditation, through which the Law Society of Scotland aims to create a community of technologists, who work to drive excellence in the legal technology profession in Scotland and further afield. It aims to become a quality marque for all those working in legal technology, to provide assurances to the public, clients and the legal profession as a whole.
