London Legal Support Trust (LLST), a charity that fundraises to support free legal advice agencies in London and the South East, is delighted to announce the return of the biggest fundraising event in the legal calendar, the London Legal Walk on 18 October.
LLST remains committed to continuing to raise desperately needed funds for legal advice agencies in London and the South East. It is no cliché that these funds are needed more now than ever due to the pandemic.
In 2020, restrictions due to the pandemic meant the usual physical events could not take place. However, LLST is thrilled that 2021 will see the return of the traditional London Legal Walk. In addition, the virtual London Legal 10xChallenge is back by popular demand for 2021 in June this year as a 10-day event!
Sadly, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the number of people badly affected continues to increase. Many are facing serious issues and are in desperate need of legal advice. Domestic violence, unemployment, homelessness, and debt are all contributing to the hardship faced by many in our community. They need the guidance and support from legal advice to resolve these issues
The work of LLST to raise awareness and funds through events is critical as these agencies continue their life-changing work. Together with the legal community, LLST can continue to support legal advice agencies in helping the most vulnerable to access justice.
London Legal Walk: 18 October
The London Legal Walk will return on Monday 18 October as a physical event, starting on Carey Street as per tradition.
This 10km sponsored walk through central London usually sees over 10,000 walkers from across the legal community come together to raise funds for frontline free legal advice services.

London Legal 10xChallenge: June 5-14
This year, the London Legal 10xChallenge will take place across 10 days, from 5 to 14 June.
In 2020, LLST’s virtual 10xChallenge saw people take on fun challenges from home, all based around the numbers 10, 100, 1000 and beyond. There were runners, swimmers, rowers, cake bakers, poem writers, and more.
Participants can explore the great outdoors with a run, cycle, swim, hike or kayaking adventure. Or if you’re not the sporty type, you could write 10 poems, bake 10, 100 or even 1,000 cupcakes, or put down your phone and switch off your TV for 10 tech free evenings.
