iManage platform delivers consistent user experience, simplified IT environment and organisational agility
iManage, the company dedicated to transforming how professionals work, today announced that Beck Redden – a leading Texas litigation and appellate firm – has selected iManage to meet its current and future needs for Work Product Management. The iManage platform tightly integrates a robust set of applications, delivering a consistent, integrated user experience for the firm’s attorneys and staff.
“As we started to look at iManage, we realised they could deliver much more than document and email management,” said Katie Tullis, Executive Director, Beck Redden. “The iManage platform seamlessly integrates our documents and emails with robust security and governance applications. Our lawyers appreciate the simple and user-friendly interface, improving productivity. And our IT staff can spend less time on training, upgrades and support, allowing them to focus on more strategic needs for the firm.”
Beck Redden is moving to iManage Cloud to take advantage of all the benefits of the industry’s leading Work Product Management platform, while avoiding the costs related to purchasing and maintaining on-premises servers and other IT infrastructure. iManage Cloud also simplifies Work Product Management IT administration for the firm by enabling automatic upgrades to new functionality and software updates. “We are always looking for ways to improve efficiencies and security,” added Tullis. “Moving to iManage Cloud allows us to focus more on strategic value and less on infrastructure. iManage Cloud gives us seamlessly integrated records, documents and governance solutions that enable us to focus more effectively on what matters and serve our clients.”
In addition, the firm is deploying two additional iManage security applications – iManage Security Policy Manager and iManage Threat Manager – that integrate in the iManage Cloud. This makes it easier for Beck Redden to implement need-to-know security policies, protect sensitive client information from both external and internal threat actors, manage ethical walls and meet client security audit requests.
iManage’s comprehensive approach to document and email management, security and governance helps Beck Redden work smarter and provides a proactive approach to protecting client data. Adding iManage Records Manager, the firm can set retention periods and disposition rules, as well as monitor and enforce compliance on electronic and physical records.
“We see the value in what iManage is doing by creating a single, integrated platform that manages all of our work product and keeps it secure and governed,” said Eric Richard, Director of IT, Beck Redden. “Investing in iManage demonstrates to our staff and clients the firm’s deep commitment to providing a real productivity platform while respecting complex data security requirements.”
iManage partner Cornerstone IT is assisting with the firm’s implementation of iManage Cloud and iManage’s security and governance applications. Cornerstone IT was chosen for its personal consulting approach and project experience with iManage.
“Professional services firms that are looking to the cloud to gain agility and lower costs are quickly recognising the benefits of a multi-application Work Product Management platform,” said Dan Carmel, Chief Marketing Officer, iManage. “With iManage, Beck Redden is gaining a complete platform to work and collaborate more efficiently, secure their privileged data and protect it from phishing and other security threats, enabling them to transform the way they do business so they can compete more effectively in today’s marketplace.”
