Lawyer Checker matched their employee, Tom Lyes’ fundraising efforts after reaching £250 for UK registered charity, Cricket Without Boundaries.
After hearing about Tom’s cause for such a worthy charity, risk management provider, Lawyer Checker wanted to commend his hard work by boosting his donations to £500 with an additional company donation of £250.
Key Relationship Executive, Tom Lyes will be joining a 2-week charity programme in Uganda, Africa between 16th – 30th March 2019, where he will be volunteering his time to Cricket Without Boundaries Charity.
Cricket Without Boundaries (CWB) is a UK registered charity (number 1154576) that uses cricket as a vehicle for delivering health and social messages in sub-Saharan Africa. The charity is mostly run by volunteers and relies almost entirely on their generosity, enthusiasm and dedication.
To help raise money for the world’s leading cricket development charity, Tom will be climbing the highest mountain in Wales and England, Snowdon, on 2nd March 2019. The money raised will mainly go towards equipment and teaching aids which will be shipped out to Uganda at the start of his charity programme trip.
Tom Lyes said: “Cricket Without Boundaries is an amazing charity. I am very excited about my trip to Africa, and proud to be a part of the charity programme which is so valuable to the Uganda Communities. My Snowdon challenge is set, and I want to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.”
