Landmark Information, the land, property and environmental data specialists, has announced the details of a new webinar, which is taking place on Thursday 5th April at 11am, with PSG, which is designed to provide property lawyers and conveyancing professionals with guidance on the variety of due diligence reports that are available to form part of a conveyancing search pack.
The PSG and Landmark webinar, “Due Diligence Review – The right report for the right transaction”, is highly practical and focused on providing understanding of the different reports that are available to support residential and commercial transactions.
Philip Hill, Account Director for Landmark Information explains: “During the PSG and Landmark webinar, we will consider the ‘why, which, when and how’ of selecting the right reports for the various transactions, to ensure that solicitors can manage risk as part of their due diligence and client care processes. We will also discuss how to deal with any issues that may be revealed within the reports. It’s important to match the right reports for the right transaction, and our informative webinar will provide practical guidance.”
The webinar, which is designed to support lawyers with their Solicitors Regulation Authority ‘Continuing Competence’ training requirements, will cover the following topics:
- Why we do searches – Law Society compliance, avoiding traps and ‘nasty surprises’.
- Breakdown the content of the reports – What data & information is included within environmental, flood and other risk reports?
- Which reports to select and when.
- Matching the right reports for the right transaction.
