By Legal Futures Associate Clio
At Clio, we stand for a just and equitable world. We extend our support to the people affected by the conflict in Ukraine and are committed to supporting impacted and displaced legal professionals and pro bono lawyers offering aid to Ukrainian refugees and asylum seekers.
Lawyers and legal service providers play a vital role during times of crisis by providing aid and guidance to displaced individuals. However, in order for legal professionals to support their communities during times of volatility and uncertainty, they first need to be in a position of stability themselves.
That is why we are offering three months of free legal practice management software to legal professionals, firms, non-profits, and legal clinics financially impacted or displaced by the conflict in Ukraine, as well as pro bono lawyers supporting Ukrainian refugees.
You do not need to be a Clio customer to take advantage of this offer. Our data migrations and onboarding teams will give special priority to importing your files and getting you up-and-running so you can get back to what matters most.
We are also committed to supporting our employees and their families with personal connections to Ukraine and Russia. We know how incredibly painful the last few weeks have been for some and we are ensuring that all our team members know about the mental health resources and support available to them. For employees interested in providing financial aid to those impacted, we have set up a donation matching program to maximise our shared support. To date, this programme has generated over $40,000 in donations.
As we call for a peaceful and just outcome for Ukraine, we will continue to monitor the events that are unfolding on the global stage and will take appropriate action as we navigate this conflict with our customers’ and employees’ best interests at heart.
