First4Lawyers Group, the UK’s largest independent legal marketing collective, has appointed its first chief commercial officer and a new sales director as it gears up for further expansion.
Nick Delaney has transitioned into the newly created role of chief commercial officer. In this position, Nick will focus on maximising commercial opportunities across the group. He will continue managing his own key accounts while introducing new ones and playing a pivotal role in developing national partnerships with larger law firms across all of First4Lawyers’ key product lines. Nick was previously group director of business development.
Legal sector specialist Ian Adams, who joins from National Accident Helpline (NAH), has been appointed as director of sales to lead the day-to-day business development function across the group’s personal injury, clinical negligence, and other legal services. Ian worked in business development for NAH for the last six years and prior to this, held similar roles for Minster Law and Premier Medical.
Qamar Anwar, group managing director of First4Lawyers, said: “Congratulations to Nick on his new role and a warm welcome to Ian as he joins our team. Nick’s transition reflects the group’s focus on leveraging commercial opportunities, while Ian’s extensive experience in legal business development will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our position in existing markets and explore new opportunities. Both appointments are strategic moves to enhance our leadership team as we pursue further growth.”
