Claim Technology, the trailblazing Claims-as-a-Service platform has today announced the addition of Oliver Jeffcott to their team. Claim Technology provide future-focused self-serve solutions for claimants, empowering them to manage their claim from end-to-end, and supporting insurance handlers in digitisation and business optimisation.
Jeffcott brings 10 years of experience as a personal injury solicitor to the company. He is accredited as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. With a particular interest in cycling cases, Jeffcott blogs as The Cycling Solicitor, and has been the co-ordinator of the Transport special interest group for the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers since 2013.
Jeffcott is also the founder of Litem, a website which uses automation to allow cyclists to run their own injury case free of charge as litigants in person, without the need for legal representation.
This experience makes Jeffcott well placed to complement the Claim Technology team. He will support the company in working towards ‘the touchless claim’ and take a hands-on role in business development, marketing, product development, account management and more.
“I chose to give up my career as a lawyer to work for Claim Technology because I was inspired by its vision for personal injury cases.” announced Jeffcott. “My goal is to use the contacts and knowledge I have built up in my career to help create a beautifully designed product that helps bring lawyers, insurance companies and claimants together in a spirit of collaboration to resolve a case.”
