Simon Blandy – Cilex Regulation, Director of Governance, Policy and Legal
CILEx Regulation Limited (CRL) is pleased to announce that Simon Blandy has been appointed as its new Director of Governance, Policy and Legal.
Simon, who is a qualified solicitor, has extensive experience of legal regulation, most recently as Director of Regulatory Standards for the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.
He takes up his post on 19 May 2022.
Commenting on Simon’s appointment, Janine Griffiths-Baker, Interim CRL Chief Executive, said, “I am delighted we have appointed someone with Simon’s standing and expertise. His knowledge and experience of the legal sector will further help us to deliver safe, proportionate, risk-based regulation in the public and consumer interest.”
Simon said: “I am thrilled to be joining CILEx Regulation and look forward to working with colleagues and stakeholders to build on the excellent work that has already been undertaken”.
