We were recently contacted by an IT Support Managed Service Provider (MSP) business who had lost many of their end user backup accounts when their previous well known USA based cloud backup provider carried out an update.
An array of servers containing critical data were decommissioned prematurely, as a result metadata was compromised, critical links between the storage environment and their Cloud Services were disconnected. All data was rendered unusable.
The cloud backup company even said: “It is recommended you create an additional offsite backup as soon as possible…”
This business then came to us.
