From November 2022, HM Land Registry have announced there are changes on the way. Any new? Register applications made will need to be made digitally. In addition, HMLR will no longer accept scanned or PDF copies of AP1s to make changes to existing titles using the HM Land Registry portal. The traditional ways of preparing an AP1 by filling a Word document, printing it and sending it by post or converting it to PDF and uploading it to the portal, will also become invalid.
With only two months to go, law firms must now start looking at how they can adapt to be ready for submitting digital applications.
What is the impact and how can Advanced help?
