‘Amplify’ – The new all-inclusive after the event insurance cover for commercial dispute litigators from Temple Legal Protection

Andy Lyalle, Senior Business Development Manager at Temple Legal Protection

Leading specialist legal expenses insurer Temple Legal Protection has launched ‘Amplify’ – its new ATE insurance cover for commercial dispute resolution cases. Exclusively available for direct solicitor instructions, it provides coverholders with instant access to up to £250,000 of cover per policy – and cover of up to £2m per case after a referral to Temple. There is also cover for counsel’s fee’s and bespoke ATE premiums that are only payable if and when the case is successful, plus access to Temple disbursement funding.

Becoming an Amplify coverholder will enable a commercial litigator to insure a case quickly, adding value to the service they offer existing clients whilst helping attract new ones. This is possible as there is no need to refer cases to an underwriter; it’s all done through Temple’s on-line insurance portal but with support from their underwriting team always directly available.

Commenting for Temple on the launch, Senior Business Development Manager Andy Lyalle explained how Amplify came into being: “25 years’ experience has gone into this. Amplify could be thought of as a culmination of all our efforts. This all-inclusive offering is the result of extensive dialogue with forward-thinking commercial litigation teams and individuals who see the benefits of partnering with Temple and being able to access such comprehensive After the Event Insurance cover and Disbursement Funding.”

Andy went on to say “Amplify is also fully integrated with Temple’s existing Espresso, Concierge and Solo commercial ATE products and Disbursement Funding which are all under the same roof at Temple. Once a required case volume is agreed with a firm, it is the solicitor’s choice which cover they feel is most appropriate and there is no restriction on which cover type they use for different cases.  A relatively small volume of projected cases could lead to a Solicitor firm and their clients being given the full Amplify cover”
